Eddy Surf Report's prime objective is to promote ocean preservation, conservation and is linked the following charities and organisations: Wild Sea, Reef Check, Earth Island Institute, A Rocha, Sea Shepherd, Blue Ventures, Mauli Ola Foundation, Enkosini, Save the Waves, Surfer's Medical Association, Surfers Against Sewage, Wild Coast, Costa Salvaje, Waves for Development and Surfaid.

The app offers free seven day surf forecasts for over 5,000 locations around the world. It has special features such as driving directions to help you find your way when in unfamiliar territories. You can easily find local surf shops when you run out of wax, restaurants for some post surf grub and places to stay when you're on an epic surf exploration trip. You can set your ideal conditions for each surf break and at the push of a button know when all your favourite spots will have the best waves.
